In church, being overweight and dating feels like a sin. Dating as an overweight woman can be more difficult. Home What is a Christian Worldview? Everyone has a worldview. Whether or not we realize it, we all have certain presuppositions and biases that affect the way we view all of life and reality. A worldview is like a set of lenses which taint our vision or alter the way we perceive the world around us. Our worldview is formed by our education, our upbringing, the culture we live in, the books we read, the media and movies we absorb, etc. For many people their worldview is simply something they have absorbed by osmosis from their surrounding cultural influences.
The purpose of our Christian Apologetics ministry is to equip people to think and live with a consistent and cohesive Biblical worldview. We believe that God exists Heb. God created everything that exists Gen. We believe that the fullness of God came to earth and lived in the human body of Jesus Christ of Nazareth 2, years ago Col. We believe that mankind chose to rebel against God in the Garden of Eden and because of that act of rebellion, sin and death entered the world Rom.

Why should churches get sucked into spending their time matchmaking on prime-time TV for the promise of a financial prize? But I am concerned the church is getting distracted from its purpose—saving the lost and making disciples—by the glaring lights of Hollywood.
I could not find any redeeming value in the broadcast. Of course, not all Christian reality shows are created equal. Just think about it for a minute. Do we really need a Christian version of The Bachelor that goes into actual churches and enlists stay-at-home moms and grannies to select a romantic partner for a handsome guinea pig? Does this make a mockery out of Christian courtship at a time when marriage is already under attack? I believe it brings Hollywood into the church with glim and glamour more than it takes the church into Hollywood with the gospel of salvation.
